Roberta D. Cooper has joined the Corporate and Business Transactions practice group at Andersen, Tate & Carr. Her practice specializes in immigration law; including immigrant and non-immigrant employment and family-based petitions, I-9 audits, J-1 waivers, Deferred Action (DACA), U visas, and citizenship. Ms. Cooper represents clients at interviews with USCIS officers in the Atlanta field office and handles consular processing of cases with the Department of State through the National Visa Center and embassies and consulates abroad.

Ms. Cooper also has experience with corporate and business law, including asset and stock purchases, mergers, entity formation, and immigration-related due diligence in corporate transactions. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is an editor of the Georgia-Alabama and Central Florida Chapters’ Case Summaries Newsletter.
