Brad Carr has been with Andersen, Tate & Carr for over 20 years where he leads the Corporate & Business Transactions Group of the Firm and serves on the Firm’s management team. His very active practice focuses on a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions; equity and debt offerings; formation and representation of development stage and emerging growth companies; employment matters, including executive compensation and employee ownership plans; intellectual property matters; finance matters, including venture capital, private equity, and institutional lending and borrowing of all types; business succession planning, including shareholder matters and family entities; and general corporate and business advice.
Brad routinely represents companies of all sizes, from start-ups to large private and public companies, in complex transactions and other business matters. Brad serves as outside general counsel for many clients and enjoys serving in an advisory role to senior management and ownership groups in strategic planning and decisions, governance and business operations. His many long-time clients and friends in the business are a testament to the value the ATC team provides in business matters.
Brad is a life-long resident of the metro Atlanta area and a “Double Dawg”, and, like most of the Firm’s lawyers, believes giving back to the community is an absolutely must. He speaks frequently on many business topics to both lawyers and non-lawyers and sits on the boards of many local foundations and non-profits. He and his family live in Duluth.
